We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to join our family-owned winery. This role is crucial in maintaining a customer-focused atmosphere that sets our winery apart while maintaining a professional and cleanly work environment. 

Managers manage the day to day operations under the supervision of a team of upper management. As part of our leadership team, you will represent our company and brand standards. Our managers are role models and contribute to ongoing staff development. You should be an expert in customer interactions, an excellent communicator, driven to optimize sales, and dedicated to product quality and facility sanitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience by offering high level of service at all times.
• Resolve customer issues in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Maintain clean and pleasant dining environment while ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols
• Conduct pre-opening checks and post-closing checks to ensure winery is maintained in accordance with MAW standards.
• Complete all opening and closing duties including, trash removal, mopping, stocking, 
• Complete operations and administration duties, including but not limited to, proper invoicing, POS operations, assist inventory manager in maintaining accurate inventories. 
• Provide leadership and training to staff to ensure compliance with our standards
• Foster a positive, team-based work environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years experience in field of management, preferably in the hospitality industry
• High energy, leadership mentality with attention to details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Passion for creating a positive work culture in a family-owned business setting
• Evenings and weekends as required
• Part time or full time available
